Print making

1.     Describe the overall composition of your artwork (balance, unity, rhythm and movement).
You can see the differecne in the pictchure by the movement of the lines and the balance of lines.
2.     How did you add texture and contrast to your print? Is this important? Why?
This is very important because without it you can't see the image but if you have contrast the texture you see the image clearly.

It outlines the different areas so you can see the texture in the print.

4.     Describe the craftsmanship of your print. (How good the project is technically crafted)
Its a good outcome but sice this first time doing this it's not as good as i wanted to be.

5.     Were you able to achieve depth by showing a foreground, middle ground and back- ground? Explain.
I was only able to show a fore ground middle ground but i wasn't able to put in a backround because of the size of the animal.

Everybody's ideas came together really nice. Like we kept adding ideas on to the drawing and it just keep getting better.

It truned out great, you interact with in many different ways. There's alot of different colors to draw your eyes to different places.

4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with. Ex. Invoving the whole school?
It sort of makes the art seem more alive. If you can sit down an interact with it's alot better than looking at a painting on a wall.

Print Sketch

1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches?
They give the art some contrast. It also draws yours eyes to different.

2. Why is it neccessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain.
It gives you some different ideas for your drawing. It also makes it so your not copying your references.

3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this?
Yes this fox will turn out the best because it has the most texture. It also has great contrast.

Value Drawing

Value Drawing

1. Explain the process you went through to develop your drawing.
First I had to draw all the different shades. Then I took the shades and drew them on the paper.
After that Shaded it all in.
2. Explain how you found the different values in the portrait?
I trased over the picture with trasing paper. Any values I saw I drew in. I also put it up on a window

I looked at the different shades i outlined then i drawed them in. I had a piece of paper with all the values.
In the end all the shades stood out.

Yes the pitcure looks very nice in my eyes. I used different pressures to make the different values.
That gave it the nice 3D look.

5. List any obstacles you had to overcome and how you dealt with them.
The only problem was trying to get all the values in. Also make the values stand out against each other.
